Clarinetist

Eliza Reimold is an active performer and music educator based in Houston, Texas. A clarinetist from Boxford, Massachusetts, she is pursuing her Master of Music at Rice University’s Shepherd School of Music, where she studies with Richie Hawley. Eliza serves the Houston community as a DACERMA Young Artist, a fellowship through which she shares her passion for music through chamber performances and classroom teaching.
She earned her Bachelor of Music from the Eastman School of Music, studying with Michael Wayne, where she was deeply engaged in contemporary music. At Eastman, she performed with the Music Nova New Music Ensemble, premiered works by student composers, and explored new repertoire with her woodwind quintet, the Lyra Winds. Eliza has also appeared as a fellow at the Music Academy of the West, the Round Top Festival Institute, and the National Orchestral Institute.
In addition to performing, Eliza teaches private clarinet lessons in Houston-area schools and is passionate about using music as a tool for storytelling, education, and community-building.
